Ed Sullivan
Economist, The Sullivan Report

Ed is an economist, policy advocate, author, and public speaker for over 30 years. Ed served as a Chief Economist and Senior Vice President of Market Intelligence at Portland Cement Association for over two decades. During that time, his forecasts about the construction and cement industries supported corporate strategies, guide financial sector analyses, and provide fact-based insights for national media. about the "real world" issues. 

In addition to being a Federal Reserve award winning economist, Ed has supported the cement industry advocacy efforts - playing a critical role in emissions NESHAP policy and testifying before the US Congress regarding the need for increased infrastructure spending.

Earlier in his career, Ed held senior positions at Chase-Manhattan Bank, Standard and Poors, and Wharton Econometrics where he collaborated with Nobel Laureate Lawrence Klein.  He was also a senior intelligence officer at the Central Intelligence Agency, where he recieved a commendation from then Deputy Director of Intelligence Bob Gates (later Secretay of Defense).  He also served as an analyst in the Office of Senator Edward M. (Ted) Kennedy.
